Lake Country Wineries

Lake Country covers an area of 122.19 km² and includes Oyama, Winfield, Okanagan Centre, and Carr's Landing. Lake Country has a population of over 13,000. Lake Country vineyards and wineries are located in Okanagan Centre and Carr's Landing.

Gray Monk Cellars with 20 acres planted in 1972, is the first Lake Country Winery to open up in 1982. Gray Monks first commercial wines were made in 1981 at the Brights Winery in Oliver.

In 2003, Arrowleaf Cellars Winery, established on the Suncrest Vineyard, started up as a licensed winery.

Additional wineries opened up in the later years and to this day all of the Lake Country wineries that opened up are still in business today.
